SINAMICS S210 servo converters are connected to SIMOTICS S†1FK2 synchronous servomotors. Connection to a higher-level control system using PROFINET RT/IRT. This allows, in particular, SIMATIC S7 (shorter engineering times with SIMATIC S7-1500/T-CPU) and SIMOTION to be used as controllers. The S210 is flexible, versatile and can be used worldwide (with all of the usual certifications, UL-certified for North America). The S210 operates with servo control with/without Dynamic Servo Control (DSC) and is equipped with a torque setpoint limiting function. An integrated one-cable interface OCC (One Cable Connection) allows a SIMOTICS S-1FK2 motor to be simply connected using just one cable. It is not possible to connect other motors. The integrated web server facilitates very simple commissioning. Operation is significantly simplified as the motor and encoder are automatically identified (e.g. automatic controller optimization with One Button Tuning). Faults and alarms are shown on the display located under the front cover, and extensive diagnostics with plain text messages are possible via the integrated web server. Integrated safety functions facilitate highly effective protection for persons and machines. Safety Integrated Basic Functions are included as standard. The Safety Integrated Extended Functions are available as an option. SINAMICS S210 converters are supplied as standard with coated or partially coated boards, so that sensitive SMD components are protected against dust, humidity, etc. The servo converters are available in the single-phase voltage range from 200 V to 240 V, in the power range 0.1 kW to 0.75 kW and in frame sizes FSA to FSC. The three-phase converters are available in the voltage range from 200 V to 480 V and in the power range 0.4 kW to 7.0 kW in frame sizes FSA to FSC. For 3 AC devices, the DC links of up to six converters can be coupled. As a consequence, energy can be exchanged between the axes. Based on various options, SINAMICS S210 devices can be individually adapted to specific requirements. The converters are supplied with shield plate and push-in connectors (without memory card).
