SIMATIC DP, CPU 1516PRO-2 PN for ET 200pro, Central processing unit with Work memory 1 MB for program and 5 MB for data, 1st interface: PROFINET IRT with 3-port switch, 2nd interface: PROFINET RT, 10 ns bit performance, degree of protection: IP65/67, SIMATIC Memory Card required, Connection module required The SIMATIC ET 200pro is a very rugged and powerful modular distributed I/O system with IP65/67 degree of protection, for installation outside the control cabinet directly at the machine. The modules can either be plugged directly into an ET 200pro CPU or connected to a central controller via PROFINET or PROFIBUS. It is also possible to connect to the central controller wirelessly via WLAN, which allows the use of the SIMATIC ET 200pro for electric monorail systems, automated guided vehicles, in building management, and in warehouse logistics. Due to its comprehensive range of modules, it is especially useful where a fine-modular configuration with different functions is required in harsh ambient conditions. The separation of module and bus/power connection technology allows a module to be swapped during operation (so-called hot swapping ), which ensures the availability and productivity of the machine in connection with the detailed diagnostics. The system provides a very wide range of modules. In addition to various digital and analog input and output modules with a wide range of characteristics, a number of fail-safe modules for applications up to SIL 3 / PLe are also available. The ET 200pro system provides integrated solutions especially for motor control in the form of motor starters and frequency converters, which are also available as fail-safe variants. An IO-Link master and a module for connecting RFID component devices via the RS 232 / 422 interface round out the portfolio.
