Individually Coded RFID Safety Switches

The FR Range from Fortress Interlocks are a series of uniquely coded RFID operated safety switches with volt free contacts so that they can be used with most safety relays on the market.

Unlike most non-contact safety switches, these individually coded devices protect against manipulation and aren't easily defeatable, making them ideal for use in high risk applications.

These vibration-proof safety switches feature agent-resistant plastic enclosures and epoxy resin for a protection level up to IP69K. 

All devices within the FR Range come with up to 4 billion inidividual codes to achieve a form of high level coding in accordance with ENO ISO:14119.

FRNK

The FRNK is a compact, electronically operated, uniquely coded RFID safety switch and actuator. The precise switching ensures reliable operation and indication on the switch makes identification of guard status easy for the operator. The unit can either be supplied with a pre-wired cable of varying length or an M12 quick connector.

FRSO

The FRSO is an electronically operated, uniquely coded RFID safety switch and actuator. The precise switching ensures reliable operation and indication on the switch makes identification of guard status easy for the operator. This switch can either be supplied with a pre-wired cable of varying length or an M12 quick connector.

FRSG
