FM Range

Magnetic Reed Switches

The FM Range from Fortress Interlocks are a series of non-contact magentic reed switches with Volt Free contacts that are availabile in different sizes which have identical footprints to other manufacturer's switches.

These magnetically operated safety switches provide the most economical method of safeguarding hazardous machinery and have been designed to work with safety relays that have a low inrush current on the switch input. 

Available in both ABS plastic or stainless steel housings for hygienic applications within the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries. High temperature variants are also available upon request. 

Unlike other magnetic switches on the market, all safety switches within the FM range don't need 24 volts to operate. 

FMF5

The FMF5 is a compact, magnetic safety switch with a width of just 5.2mm. It comes in a stainless steel variant and can either be supplied with a pre-wired cable of varying length or an M12 quick connector.

FMF7

The FMF7 is a compact, tamper-resistant, magnetic safety switch. It comes in a stainless steel variant and can either be supplied with a pre-wired cable of varying length or an M12 quick connector.

FMF6

The FMF6 is a compact, tamper-resistant, magnetic safety switch, available in both ABS plastic and stainless steel. It can be supplied with either a pre-wired cable of varying length or an M12 quick connector.
